Signals: Licensed = a Florida DBPR food-service license is issued and the first inspection (the opening) hasn’t happened yet. Filed = a new LLC or corporation registered with the Florida Division of Corporations with a storefront-style name and a West Palm Beach-area address. A filing is a signal, not a promise: some open late, rename or never open. How we spot openings.
